The Nichus Memorial Chapel sits perched along the slope of Thoreau Street in the Town of Philomena. The chapel is named in the fond memory of nichus Bermann, long-time friend, resident, and founder of the original Philomenaville and Wellington communities.
The chapel is nondenominational and does not recognize a specific religion. Its addition to town serves to fulfill the wholesome feel of nostaglia the town evokes while serving as a location for quiet meditation and quiet reflection. The chapel also serves as the location for town and community meetings.
